toyota Connect

can't get my GH to connect to Toyota connect. After I add my vehicle via the app by scanning my VIN, it says it cannot connect and to try again. I have done this 20+ times over the last 3 weeks, but no success

Dealer was unhelpful. Connected Services was actually really helpful and stayed on the phone with me until it was resolved. The rep had to put me on hold a few times to figure things out with their "product specialty team" but we figured it out. Unfortunately the car can only be set up and associated with one phone (my wife's). I had to manually add my phone through the setup menu --> bluetooth menu, then once it was paired, scroll down to the bottom of the menu and press "make secondary device". This has to be done out of range of the primary phone so that it doesn't connect while you're trying to add yours. So now when I'm driving the car alone, it will automatically connect with my phone if it doesn't see my wife's phone first. I feel like it's a pretty lame work around, but whatever... it beats having to manually select my phone from the screen every time I drive.
