These photos of a prototype body exposed provide our first look at the upcoming 2023 Toyota Grand Highlander three-row SUV.
It has obvious Highlander overtones and is even labeled “TTC TOYOTA” and “TTC PROTOTYPE DEV” on the frame rails. The body was exposed by a wayward car cover during transport while exiting a Toyota engineering facility.
From taking a closer look we can see that the rear surface development on display shows a sharply-creased waistline and a gas door that’s integrated completely differently than standard Highlander. The C- and D-pillars, and the rear-side-window design is also completely different, with a more upright treatment when compared to the Highlander.
