I just ordered one for my 2024 XLE AWD. I had one of these for a 2018 F-150 that I no longer own, but I had it for 5 years, and the device never had any issues whatsoever. I know this feature is disliked by many, so I thought I would let you all know in case you want to order one. I have zero affiliation with these guys. I am strictly a satisfied customer spreading the word. Have a great Labor Day!

Hi CJF, I received it today in the mail at noon, and by 12:05 it was installed! The install truly is as easy as it looks in the video, and it works perfectly! When I start the car now, it is automatically OFF, and you need to press the button if you want to revert to ON, but that begs the question of why would anyone ever want it on??? If you're on the fence about getting it, my vote is to get it, as it doesn't get any simpler to install than this, and as mentioned, it works great!! Now I just need to get in the habit of NOT hitting the switch when I start the car :) best regards

Ha! Hadn't thought of that; I too push it every single time as soon as I hit the start button, except those one or two times I forget. Thanks again!

Ok, so I own plenty of old Toyotas (82 4x4 pickup, 91 Land Cruiser, 92 Land Cruiser) and have always worked on them myself, but our GH is the first new vehicle I've ever owned (plus it's technically for my wife) and I'm scared to mess with it. Do the three parts (two armrests and the control module) really snap off as easily as shown in the installation video?? (If not, I suppose I can order any fasteners I might break...)

Thanks all.
